Qualifications
The successful candidate for an
adult development program supervisor will have a minimum of
a high school diploma or equivalency, a good driving record,
and be able to pass all required background checks,
including, but not limited to, criminal background checks,
central registry checks, traffic violation record checks,
reference checks, medical, and drug and alcohol test.
He/She will report to the Adult Development Coordinator.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Adult
Development Coordinator, the Adult Development Program
Supervisor will:
1)
Supervise program aides in the implementation of their
duties.
2)
Plan and prepare program and individualized activities based
on IPP objectives.
3)
Implement above activities, in coordination with program
aides, ensuring that consumers spend a minimum of five hours
per day working on their individual objectives.
4)
Assist consumers with all necessary self-care task.
5)
Ensure that no consumer is left unsupervised or idle.
6)
Record each individual’s progress on their individual
objectives on a daily basis. This task may be shared with
program aides, but it is the supervisor’s responsibility to
ensure that the data is recorded daily and correctly. This
data is to be placed in the consumer’s files at least
monthly.
7)
Assist with transportation duties as needed.
8)
Ensure program coverage in case of staff absences,
illnesses, etc.
9)
Implement any required behavior management program with the
assistance of program aides.
10)
Listen to consumers and actively involve them in making
choices about the program.
11)
Make local decisions about closing program for inclement
weather.
12)
Maintain the consumer’s confidentiality, as well as that of
subordinate staff members.
13)
Interact with family members according to the provisions of
confidentiality law.
14)
Relieve the Coordinator for meetings, conferences, and
emergencies.
15)
Keep the Coordinator informed of any difficulties connected
with a lack of understanding, health problems unsatisfactory
behaviors of consumers or subordinates, problems with other
agencies or programs, etc.
16)
Stay aware of safety issues at all times and take any
necessary measures to keep consumers safe.

Work assignment: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m., Monday through Friday
This is a twelve month position.
Qualifications: High
school diploma or GED. CDA preferred. Minimum of one year
teaching experience in preschool classroom preferred. Applicant

ability or requisite personal qualities to work well with
children and adults; and be willing to attend in-service
training and travel out of town as required by position. Person
must have current health card and have completed an application

Tasks and Responsibilities:
The teacher will plan and organize all aspects of the classroom
program under the supervision of the supervision of the
supervising certified teacher.
1. Design, coordinate, execute and assess a weekly
schedule for children and aides.

4. Carry out the program in accordance with all
relevant regulations and policies
5. Oversee the welfare, health, and safety of

VAN AIDE

VAN AIDE
POSITION: VAN AIDE
RESPONSIBLE TO: Program
Supervisor and Bus Driver
WORK ASSIGNMENT: Monday through
Friday during regular program
sessions, hours as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Life
experience, high school diploma or equivalency, and satisfactory
references. Bus aide must be willing to attend in-service
training and travel out of town as required by position. Bus
aide must have current health card and complete required
personnel forms. Including an application for a Central Registry
(child abuse) check and Criminal Record check.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The bus aide will perform tasks to facilitate transportation
activities which contribute to the Classroom Program and will be
responsible for the following duties:
1)
Assist program participants on and off the vehicle
safely, to and from the classrooms, therapy field trip
activities and check to see that seat belts are connected for
each passenger.
2)
Observe all regulations and practices for the safe
transportation of program participants and other vehicle
passengers.
3)
Assist in maintaining a clean and litter-free interior.
4)
Assist in completing required reports.
5)
Participate in required training.
6)
Assist teacher with care of program participants during
field trips as needed.
7)
Facilitate communication between home (families) and
classroom teachers by delivering notes, request, and responses
between home and school.
8)
Maintain contact with families of participants who are
ill to determine when the participant will return to the
program.
9)
Perform other related duties as assigned and make sure
all passengers are off before leaving the vehicle.
