PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Focus Early Childhood
Program is a preschool program for children aged 0-5 years. Most of our
children qualify for our program because they are developmentally
delayed.
The Focus Early Childhood Program includes instruction in
cognitive skills, math, art, gross and fine motor skills, and other
areas, but our emphasis is always on language development. The
Program’s staff, both professional and paraprofessional, is trained to
facilitate the progress of children with language delays by encouraging
the development of communication skills. The Classroom also provides
speech, physical, and occupational therapy, and receives consultative
assistance from various agencies.
