The Arkansas PTI is a statewide network for parents of
children with disabilities. It is a joint project of Focus, Inc., the
Arkansas Disability Coalition, and Arkansas Support Network, Inc.
Our mission is to advocate for equal rights and opportunities
for children and adults with disabilities.
The Arkansas PTI Centers offer:

Small group training
and workshop presentations
for parents and education and health care professionals

To develop self-advocacy skills

To improve communication between home and school
C.
To understand IDEA and other laws that impact the education of
children with disabilities
D.
To prepare for planning meetings (e.g., IEP, IFSP, transition,
service team meetings, etc.)
